ในหนึ่งวันมี 24 ชั่วโมง และหนึ่งอาทิตย์ก็มี 7 วัน สำนวนนี้จึงมีความหมายว่า “ตลอดเวลา” หรือตลอด 24 ชม.
ตัวอย่าง “You can access our website 24/7.”, “I work twenty-four seven.”
“Get the ball rolling”
หมายความว่า “เริ่มทำอะไรสักอย่าง”
ตัวอย่าง “Let’s get the ball rolling” (เราเริ่มลงมือกันเถอะ)
“Take it easy”
หมายความว่า “ผ่อนคลาย” หรือ “พักผ่อน”
ตัวอย่าง “I don’t have any plans this weekend. I think I’ll take it easy.”
“Sleep on it”
หมายความว่า “ใช้เวลาในการตัดสินใจ”

หมายความว่า “for a long time-เป็นเวลานานมาก”

หมายความว่า “ไม่ชอบ” หรือ “เกลียด”
